I get a little where Viv is coming from because she doesn't do major productions anymore while Taraji does.
However, she could have answered this better since every last black actress is getting underpaid compared to their non-black peers whether they are doing big productions or the lifetime and small budget stuff Vivica does.

You're right I can't speak on her what she's personally experienced. And tbh I never been motivated or cared Enough to research/ask around about Vivicas experiences. What I do know is she started her career acting in the soap world, and I know a lot about those sets, she's worked on two of most racist sets in Daytime and people til this day are still dealing with some real disrespect and bad treatment, people who are even bigger stars on platforms than she was, and people who aren't even black. There's another blk actress whom Vivica had direct storylines with been notorious for speaking up and even suing for things done behind the scenes to her as the years go by everything she has ever said been confirmed I just don't see Vivica being Immune to it, while her story might not be the same I can guarantee she's experienced 'Something' in her long career that made her feel unappreciated and made her uncomfortable.
I know my post spoke directly about daytime but just to bring it back to the film world. Angela Bassett herself has talked about taking a pay cut to star in a black film because the budget wasn't there, also Kerry Washington has spoken out about not having her own dressing room when she was apart of an summer blockbuster, the list can go on.
