Why don't older male artist work with women their age? It's kind of odd, how they instantly flock to working only with younger women.

its a relevancy thing. not a weird thing imo

its cooler for him to team up with summer walker in 2024 than it is to team up with auntie anita

sffsffffffssf

no different from artists playing with trendy, "of the moment" sounds in their music

just another form of keeping up with the times. which is kinda what an R&B pop artist like Usher should be doing

the purpose of these collabs is ultimately cross-promotion. not just to make good music. bring in some of Latto's listeners, Summer's listeners, etc.

that junk kook collab is the only thing that had me scratching my head tbh

but i guess the whole chinky chinky chune thing is on trend as well now

usher just doing what he gotta do.

sfssffssfsfsfsf 🥡 🥡

kook is also considerably younger as well. these are business moves

Latte doesn't have listeners, she's just younger and free labor. I agree with everything else you said.
