Being cautious about believing everything someone tells you about themselves as u get to know them, and looking for potential red flags
but it's a reality. Especially if u have someone in ur space , and especially in ur home . U have every right to know who you are letting that close to you.
I would never advise anyone against doing their homework before certain boundaries are crossed
But what a relief when u do your digging and not only is tea they told u confirmed , but you see mess like them doing volunteer work to help at-risk youth in the neighborhood they come from... things they didn't even mention that put them in an even better light.
There are still good human beings in this world. People that will almost make you feel bad for being so cynical to begin with. But Proceed with caution always
