I had no idea that "Say Yes" was originally for Ron Isley, but he passed on it.
Michael Jackson almost had it along with "Butterflies", but only took that one.
This really opened up my eyes to how much of a legendary record that "Say Yes" truly was.
The epitome of pure R&B. The chords, the melody. The bass. The instrumental. WHEW such an underrated haunting record. The beat was so soothing to the ear
