A recent discussion I had with friends after this recent Tamar debate mess.
Do y'all think we've ever seen any male versions of Whit/Mimi in R&B?
I've always heard most argue that Tevin Campbell was the male Nippy

Kenny Lattimore
IDK what male is compatible with Mariah. Her specialty was high and whistle notes.Idk Maybe Bilal or Brian McKnight.
I always saw Maxwell as a sort of male Mariah, vocally
I saw a post on IG suggesting Brandy=Tony Thompson.I was wowed at the similarities and don't know how we/people never talked about it before.
Tevin can sing, but his voice is kinda thin to me. He doesn't give a robust vocal like Whit did.
I guess in terms of "pop" George Michael and Luther.
Luther was the GOAT male vocalist.
Me. My vocals so crisp.
I agree with a lot of these names mentioned in here.

Yeah Tevin has the agility but his voice isn't FULL.
