Well, they got the last 2 right. Just plop Afrodisiac to the top of the list and it's pretty accurate.

I have never saw a Christmas album in someone's rankings.
Anyways, I would have switched Two Eleven with Brandy, Afrodisiac with Never Say Never and Human with B7

Terrible list. I feel like it's literally just based off of commercial success.

Not mad at this
Honestly it's hard to rank her albums at this point IMO cuz they all have great music on them and work for different moods and times

This was the most disgusting ranking...

It is CLEARLY

Full Moon (incredible production, vocally her absolute prime, mature but still fun, versatility, no skips, MJ background vocals, fckn Mike City title song, raspy tone, harmonies on deck, just legendary through and through, only small drawback is that sometimes the production is a bit too clean and technical)

Afrodisiac
(you can change it with NSN, really depends on tate. Stellar songwriting, incredible soft and airy textured vocals, Timbaland's last great golden era R&B style album before Nelly F, Justin etc., some really edgy samples and unique ad-libs)

Never Say Never
(this one is like the best and most perfect pop and r&b fusion/crossover album ever created, it is bubblegum, but still so ambitious and high quality lyrically, vocally and production wise. Quite as it's kept Whitney wishes she had made such a perfect R&B/pop blend, her albums always were a little to grilled or too "soulful", but Bran was breezy pop and Urban at the same time, giving Dua Lipa meets Summer Walker if you will)

B7
(this is actually the most unique R&B album in a long long long while, the lyrics and structures are so messy, that they are simply off putting at times, but then at the same time carry such artistic bravery and "I dont give af" attitude, that only a star of her caliber can deliver. Her vocals are gut wrenchingly touching. It has some really bad cuts however like "I Am More" and the Sy'Rai song. And maybe one of the only major R&B albums that so directly and not metaphorically touches on mental health and depression)

Brandy
(a classic teen R&B album, great songs, great vocals, very solid but not really big highs and doesn't really feel like an "ALBUM", more like a collection of really solid songs by a phenomonal child singer)

Human
(now this you could swap with debut. The production is amazing, the vocals are CLEAN af, the compositions are very moving and solid, some really beautifully structured songs, however the narrative and Brandy's performance of some of the songs is a bit generic and too safe. With better sequencing and some grittier ad-lib choices it could be up there with Afro.)

Two Eleven
(Now this one was just a bunch of Kelly Rowland leftovers. Bran really just hopped on a bunch "trendy" records that were immediate forgetables, think Mary J. Blige "25/8" or some Natalie de la Rose mess. Ironically she looked her best during this era.)

For me

Afro/FM

I go back and forth about which one of these is better to me. Afro is better lyrically, FM is better vocally and sonically but FM has more filler songs and Afro is less bloated and more cohesive overall.

NSN
Human
Two Eleven
Brandy
B7

I did not like her debut album with the exception of a few songs. FM & Afro deserves to be in the top 3 with NSN. That's her trifecta.

I feel like a lot of these list done today are written from the writer's perspective solely. I feel like the list they used to make would be a combination or many people's opinions, chart rankings and etc.

For me it would be

Afrodisiac
Two Eleven
Human
Brandy
Tied - Never Say Never  - Full Moon (I'm not a big Rodney Jerkins fan)
B7
Christmas With Brandy

Idk how I feel about Two Eleven. It's not bad but doesn't feel like a brandy album. The songs are all very good (Except Let Me Go and especially What You Need, which are among the worst in her discography imo) it just lacks authentic Brandy identity that all the rest of the albums have

still much better than B7 tho
