QuoteOn The Visuals:

"I thought it was important that during a time where all we see is visuals, that the world can focus on the voice. The music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research, and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own. Sometimes a visual can be a distraction from the quality of the voice and the music. The years of hard work and detail put into an album that takes over four years! The music is enough. The fans from all over the world became the visual. We all got the visual on tour. We then got more visuals from my film."

well thats certainly a poetic way to say i dont fuckin feel like it

but maybe she's onto something. i remember @Aalonso. saying that he doesnt like sharing music (that people may not have heard before) on here with a music video....and prefers audio only cuz he feels the visual could distract from the music

She definitely has a point because it really allowed us to focus on Renaissance as a whole. I understand not releasing initially but would've been nice to view a few months after.

Sometimes it's the opposite and certainly for her.How do go from making a video for every song on an album to "you are the visuals"? :plzstop:

I mean that's fine for Renaissance
But she  hasn't done anything for Cowboy Carter. No tour, no videos, no performances. Now it's fall and Blue is back to school again
what gives?

We all know the REAL reason why she never released those visuals was because she was BIG as hell during 2021 when she shot it (and she's very conscious about her image).

We all saw how big she looked during that Virgo's Groove video leak.

That's certainly the case for RENAISSANCE but not for her latest release. Music videos aren't needed bc the music really is stellar but it's nice to have them so we can look back as reflect on the time. Her music has always been great but she definitely needed music videos for some of her past work for people to fully see the vision.

True, same for PF2 cause Nicki was big as FUCK during the pre-release. These sisters ♥️

Bey just say that you were big-boned and didn't want to release the videos. I can understand if she wanted Cowboy Carter to stand alone by itself, BUT Renaissance deserved videos with cunty LOOKS and dancing. Sure, she delivered all of that on stage, but music is missing great videos these days.

Now let's turn this into a 30 page thread about how there aren't any/very little visual for Beyoncé's work like some of you all do for Brandy.

I really don't get this obsession for the visuals.  I don't need to enjoy the album.  I prefer a tour over the visuals

It was just a lil 5 second video that someone recorded behind the scenes. The video has been wiped off the internet but there's still screenshots. Beyonce was singing Virgo's Groove inside a clam shell... similar to the performance on the tour.
