Let's share our weight loss/ weight gain journeys on here with each other. :tellmemoreireallycare:
I am happy to announce that after being sick of being skinny all my life, I finally managed to gain a significant amount of weight. :feelinmyself: In the last 2.5 months I have put on 15.5 pounds and plan to go for maybe another 2 months with similar weight gain.
I work out five times a week, so it should be a good amount of muscle mass i gained. It does feel weird not seeing my abs anymore, but i'm planning to follow this up with a cutting phase, where i'll try to lose some of the fat i put on. Although i hope it won't shrink my booty too much cause that's been growing too. :rthosehotwings:
It's crazy how much the body can change in a small amount of time. Ive been working out for a while but really only started being super dedicated with my diet in the past few months. :ummwhat:
There are a few gurls on here that don't know what a diet is. I hope they get inspired
..Well, I'm inspired, all things considered. What was the initial starting weight? How much booty meat are we talking? :rthosehotwings:
And when you say the abs disappeared..do you mean completely or just superficially??
I'm gearing up for a health kick, myself, you see. My whole thing is consistency. I can eat healthy for a period of time, then I say 'fck it'.
I work out for a period of time, then I stop. Like a seesaw.
I'm always dancing, though. And walking. And I have a high metabolism lol. And I'm 6'3. About 220...I think I look good, it's just..I feel I could look even better if I actually applied myself, you know?
ugh finally a thread for us health nuts
ok so i had a diet pepsi with my pizza today :woohoo:
My weight has been the most consistent aspect of my life. I have consistently been between 165-170 for the entirety of my adult life. I've increased my fat intake with no significant weight gain. I'll probably have to quit playing tennis to gain some weight.
I do intermittent fasting

I wouldn't even. Tennis is my passion. I play four days a week for two hours. You play?

you can take a weight gainer shake which should cover the calories you need to intake to maintain your current weight, everything else you eat during the day will be for gaining weight.

its probably not the most healthy thing longterm, but i was already eating constantly which still wasnt enough with working out 5 times a week. I had to find a vegan weight gainer though, cause i didn't want to have stomach issues :dead: found a great one luckily.

Can you share the one you're taking? I'm living with Sjogren's, so I have to eat pretty clean.
