Oh wow . Never heard those "jokes" before!  :kii:  heeLAIR

This unfunny ass show is still unfunny I see.

And hopefully someone loses their job over this "writing"

Black people finding humor in making fun about how Black people allegedly look is the real joke.

What is is so hilarious about saying Black women can't grow hair? Or that they look like men?

Like, break it down to me.

And break it down to your sisters, cousins and aunties too. While you're at it.

If Black women aren't finding this funny it's just not funny. Or not funny enough.

And that's the last I'll say in here cuz I can already see myself getting annoyed between the willful ignorance and hard tries to be edgy. Frankly I've already entertained it too much

Yea this is definitely problematic. I could take 1 joke about having to pay more for the weave but the whole "Im gonna look like a man! Bald! Ugly!" That was super cringey
The one thing I'll give them is that the character was a Trump supporter, and I'm sure that is what the Black coons over there think

Black hair not being straight or long shouldn't be something that's paraded for laughs, especially in front of a mostly white studio audience. Like someone already mentioned, the fade comment was too much—it plays into the the whole racist narratives about Black women being masculine.

i get everybodys feeling but this is par for the course for snl so im not understanding the shock. they are, and always have been centered around making edgy, politically incorrect/stereotypical (often unfunny) jokes about any and everything.

they could have saved the joke if they had her say somethin like "im not like my sister, who has more hair than a st. jude wig supply closet growing outta her head" or anything else to represent the black women that AREN'T bald-headed. because she does represent some, but not even close to most

What in the humiliation ritual.

Really embarrassing as a black woman to even take part in this unfunny mess.

Dddsdddde

It just wasn't funny. PERIOD. Like Ray said, I could see if she made one joke about buying weave and moved on, but a whole skit...
