:uhh:
I see where Patrik is coming from and his intentions are seemingly good
"Even in death he can't be FREE!"
But ultimately it's not your place to decide what "free" means to the person in question .
For them, "free" could very well mean not being boxed in and categorized once their sexual preference is known by the masses.
It could mean being defined only by their talent and their character. "Free" doesn't have to mean wearing pride rainbow belts and tonguing down men on your album cover.
And this is coming from someone who def isn't a closet case. I just see things from all angles and perspectives .
Unless he had an intimate conversation with Luther where he expressed a desire to be "free", this is highly assumptive at best - inconsiderate and tacky at worst.
Everyone knew he was gay. Luther wasn't fooling anyone. It's sad that he felt like he couldn't be himself, because people obviously accepted him without him having to say it out loud.
no
respect the closet is sending me
Why did all these people have plastic surgery on their faces?
It seems like he feels that once a gay person is dead it's fair game to discuss their personal love lives even if they didn't discuss it themselves in their lifetime or want ppl to discuss it at all.
Honestly for ppl in general usually as a courtesy you don't discuss things a deceased person wanted to keep private
I don't see the big whoop. First of all we all know Luther was a flaming queen and nobody cares. Was he in the closet (excluding his mom) or was he just... secretive? I would think acknowledging that he was a big ol fat gay would help break the stigma of being a closeted gay? Cus everybody still loves Lu regardless :udontlookok:
i say let ppl be gay in private if they want to. if they didn't want they tea out in life, they prolly wouldn't want it out in death. continue to let it be an unkept secret.
I hate fags like these
Don't they have anything better to do with their time?
Luther was not out PUBLICLY and that should be respected even in death. :shannonsmissing:
