They need to break this up by genre. R&B, Adult Contemporary, Pop, and so on. Ain't no way Pink should be...nevermind.

Maybe Toni, I don't see Beyonce as a peer of Mariah, Celine and Whitney.

But let the record reflect that Bey is the only one of these ladies that still has her vocals intact tbh.

Nawwww these women were the ones that EVERY female that came into the industry were being compared to. We aren't comparing people to Toni Braxton.

In terms of impact and discography I would give it to Mary J. Blige. Mariah and Whitney are big fans of MJB.

They're mixing ages and generations

I would Janet up there with them

Janet IMO had a vocal approach and sound that birthed generations —- although she may not be able to vocally do what the other 3 listed did

So, Toni or Mary make sense as well
