So either she's faking now or she was faking the whole time of her previous career. For this to be so NATURAL it sounds way different than how her tone usually sounds, and it already sounded country
She's so persistent and got a lot of drive .. I respect that
she's not faking or forcing anything. just like you would change your approach on a ballad vs. a club bop, she's approaching her country intentionally. the girl grew up yodeling in MEMPHIS. this can be authentic without her dropping a "dag nabbit!" and "darn tootin!" everytime she speaks

she's clearly forcing her accent to be heavier on this song. We know she's country and from Memphis you could already hear that on her regular music. It's not about the approach it's the accent. If she does this on the whole album it's gonna be a mess

I think the accent is true to the genre and she is singing her ass off. Much better than the processed melodyne tea she was serving on some of the R&B singles

Her melodyne usage was overkill. I'm surprised non of the producers or higher ups stepped in to reduce it.
