That's a blessing. I'm just not there mentally yet. My mom has a mortgage and when the fridge recently broke she had to call AROUND and pay someone $700 to fix it. It's one of those French door stainless steel fridges (side by side with pull out freezer at the bottom) so it was still cheaper than buying a new one altogether. When ANY of my mess breaks I simply put in a maintain request on my portal and be done with it. I just can't DEAL. I see the pros and cons of both.

Biggest con for me is that insurance and property taxes have increased every year for the past five years.And not small increases.
