as i mentioned earlier in here i really think he's just testing the waters to gauge interest before going full out
i could kinda tell because the initial promo itself (with that AI vid) seemed so low effort and unofficial , but him just putting out one date kinda confirms what i suspected.
it's smart of him to do it this way IMO because him going on tour is risky. first thing i thought of, as much as i love him and think he's wonderful and talented......was "what songs would he be performing?"

he probably needs to prove to promoters that this would be in demand before anyone invests. hopefully his fans show up and show out for him (both in actual ticket sales and engagement with any social media posts regarding the tour) so he can add more dates.
