kinda like "Celeb Net Worth" reports. Collect the info that's available, do the best you can with the available info by analyzing it and drawing your own conclusion, but it's still not absolute fact because there's limited access to backends which could fully substantiate your guesswork.

honestly i've recently dealt with major online media outlets who tried to play their game with me
they position themselves as neutral and just wanting to note ur side of things, but if ur smart enough to do ur research before you reply, you discover they have a very clear position on the tea they're asking you about, and their seemingly neutral "safe space" mess is just a front for them to get u to open up to them so they can use ur own words to support an agenda that does not benefit you at all.
i give them SOMETHING so i can control the narrative as much as possible but it's super strategic in wording so even if they clip it, it's still useless in regards to helping them do what i know they're trying to do.
a lot of these outlets def have agendas and are willing to pull anything from anywhere to push them forward.
