You should have seen the way we kept looking around the room at each other :fuming: He did apologize when he realized we don't roll like that. That's why "we" shouldn't allow it period.

People like Cardi who are generationally mixed and Black identifying ....there are Black people who see her as Black/Afro-Latina but then there are Black people who see her as "other".

the biggest wake up call for me living here was although i always bought into Atlanta being the "Black Mecca", almost like it's own planet or island tea.....
when u actually live here and settle in you def get a reminder that this is still an American city, and this is still the deep south.

!!!! It's the black MECCA, an instant sense of belonging. But because of that, the opportunities feel kinda limited. ALL black professionals are migrating here. It's literally "overcapacity" like the natives say.

Florida, politically, is a fool but it has one of the best job markets and best homes. Preference is going back up to the north east, but I'm being open minded with Florida. Only Tampa and Jax though. I had enough of Orlando and Miami.
