I'm wondering why so far Alex Summers isn't worried about his family. Cable is his nephew and they were fighting like strangers

I don't think Alex and Scott being brothers has been revealed in this animated universe.

I don't think Alex and Scott being brothers has been revealed in this animated universe. 
they kinda mentioned it in the original series when Scott's father told him that they put both boys together on 1 parachute and pushed them out of the plane, but never really expanded on it.
I guess it doesn't really matter as far as the plot goes. Jubilee did call him knock-off Cyclops though
