Some of these have me chuckling
Toy sounds so pretty in some of these though
they both sound great and did their damn thing
Did this come up in your recommended too? :plzstop:
Tavia sounds crusty but I like what she brought to the Amazing Grace acapella.
Toya surprised me, there are some parts I thought was Bey all these years. Her tone would have been great on some of the songs Kelly leads.
Yea. I went to the person's page and saw they also uploaded the Bey and Kelly harmony parts too
and it's sooooo much longer ggghyjff

been telling ppl for YEARS
These girls sang on like 5 songs but they wanted to be treated as equal members
:omf:
yea toya and tav were equal members and are highly regarded to this by real dc fans lolz
They definitely were pivotal parts of the group, even
if it was mostly for looks. It was absolutely needed for the formula.
They were group members that didn't do as much work as the others yet wanted to be compensated as if they did
We also know what these girls sound like. Especially Tavia

The esthetics are essential as well. They had been in the group for years. If they didn't want them there or wanted girls who contributed "MORE" then they shouldn't have been accepted from the inception. So now that I'm here, yes I will be requiring equal. And based on what Latoya has done musically she could've contributed more, so I'm inclined to think they just did what was asked of them and no more. Kelly Rowland ain't no more vocally skilled than Latoya and tbh Latoya gives me more personally. Glad they went to court and got their shit
I could see if we were discussing more lead vocals, but as a member of the group why is your voice not at least in the background harmonies of every song? This is part of why groups don't last cuz, if the song only has MY VOICE, how is it DESTINY'S CHIlD, and why are the girls who are lip syncing to my vocals expecting to get paid for it?
How do we know it was Toy & Tav's decision to not record on certain songs?
I guess we all go off the stories that came out in the media. They were too busy being distracted talking to the Jagged Edge twins and missing studio sessions

and this is exactly my point and why I'm not accepting this "They only did" shit. I fully believe that that girl's father not only always had solo aspirations for her but also pushed her to the front and made that group (and songs) beyonce heavy. Huge conflict of interest and those girls deserved their shit. They was good enough to do not only 1 album but 2. The issue started when they didnt wanna be doormats.

Because Bey & Mathew said so?
Bey also said she wrote Bootylicious on an airplane :dead:
The real original managers of Destiny's Child already debunked the theory that "Mathew pushed Beyonce to the forefront!"
Beyonce was chosen as the lead singer way back in Girl Tyme when Mathew wasn't even involved with the group
He only became the manager because he threatened to remove Beyonce if the real manager said no. Then she died and he took over but the group dynamics were already in place.
and Beyonce in the forefront is not stopping the rest the group from singing the harmonies.

!!!!
I don't trust anything Bey or her family said about that time. We all have seen Mathew's character.

Hmmm

Letoya, Latavia, and Farrah said Bey was pushed to the front. So who are we believing?

Im believing the adult man that is not Mathew who was actually the manager before him and before LeToya was even in the group

There are 2 other writers on the song. Not counting Stevie Nicks.

Quiet as it's kept, a lot of the blame can go on the producers/songwriters too.
A lot of the time, they only want the lead singer's vocals on the song for "cohesiveness" or because of crunch time.
I have been in too many rooms and seen this happen with groups. I disagree with this 100% though.
I love a Danity Kane type group where all members get in the game and play, big or small contributions.
isolating the mess seems kinda redundant
considering their voices carried the whole project

some ppl wanna hear each individual part that makes the whole
Whoever this creator is also uploaded Tavia and Toya's vocal from their group Anjel, Naturi's parts from 3LW etc.
I would like them to do male groups too like 112 and Jagged Edge

true
i know i heard tavia, toya, kelly, farrah...think i heard solange here and there
and a bass note or two from mathew if my ears aren't deceiving me.
oh and tina's sewing machine being used as part of a beat
for the most part i think i have a super clear picture on who really delivered the alber

We heard what RL from Next said. he tried to have Kelly lead a song, but Mathew wasn't having it.

yea it's not like Kelly had leads on multiple other songs already
I'm not really a fence riding kinda girl, but, I can see both sides of the argument here.
The other girls should've got more shine, on one hand.
The other girls were never fucking with and to this day can never fuck with Beyonce, on the other hand.
Both things are true and the chips kinda fell where they fell. I think they should all do an album one day, sans Farrah (Cause she's a bitch). Or at least a song.
