Didn't nicki minaj make some comments about him having fake hair? This might be their lil way of telling that bitch to suck it

Not his hair being thicker and healthier than Nicki's

a lot of people were saying it was a wig

i dunno why they would think Jay-Z of all people would walk onto a stage with a lace front wig on.
even the chance of him getting caught doing some mess like that would pose a hard hit to his brand/image. i knew he would never

just looked like nice healthy hair to me.

"he's in his 50s! gotta be fake!"
sjnfsnjfsjnfjnjjjjfnjsfnjnfsjnsfjj

my grandfather had very thick, full hair well into his 60s so it's possible.

not him combing out wicks and losing a bag full of hair and his mess still thicker than hers :omf:

i think he was joking when he said "das dat cherokee"

nsfnjfsnsfnsnfsjjnjjj sorta like an inside joke

fas said he literally grew his hair out so Blue could see it's kinky like hers.

to me that doesn't speak to an obsession with indian-ness. him rushing to lather Blu's mess in no-lye relaxer woulda been that IMO

and with his hair grown out into that fro i def see the resemblance between him and blu even more. she literally has his beautiful thick hair

I really don't think black people get off on that INDIAN thing like that anymore.  I felt like he was joking but even if he wasnt, this is an isolated incident and Jay is from a different generation.  Alot of black people are very proud to be black in 2026. That u got Indian in ur family is some 90s shit

me responding to your comment literally had nothing to do with being offended about "Cherokee" claims

I've had similar feedback for you before when you have jumped at every opportunity to critique black (and black gay) people

If your brain is functioning today it will provide you a flashback or two at this point so you can stop purse bumping with Shamar Marco in here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're  black and gay yourself so it genuinely confuses me why you seem to have so much negative stuff to say about the communities

And You're not special. I have this smoke for anyone whom I feel is continuously and overly critical of us. It's just one of those things I can't seem to hold my tongue about even if it means me unfortunately diving into a bit of conflict. So don't feel too targeted.

and just to clarify

some Black Americans actually do have diverse ethnic backgrounds

yes I assumed my grandfather's grandmother was Native American but it was a reasonable assumption

she was in fact Indigenous but just a different TYPE of indigenous (Russia/Siberia), which is a very uncommon ancestry for Black Americans. my only crime was not figuring this out until DNA technology improved and was able to provide much more context for me to connect the dots.

i got my answers and guess wat, i'm back to minding my Black ass business. not running around Peachtree Street here in Atlanta speaking Russian and doing Indigenous chants.

scccscsssccsscscsccs

and damn sure ain't sitting around always finding a way to talk about how horrible Black people are.

as someone who actually has a "Cherokee great great grandma" i say let black people say wat they want, as long as they're not hurting or disparaging anyone.

I don't get why the gorls care so bad about our lineage. It is a unique one. Everybody doing their work and hit the federal and states sites to lay out their roots. I see the gorls on social media not us always getting upset ab negroes and who we are.
The biggest tears come from fascination that our families all come in a range of shades and hair textures so nah we not venturing into tribalism/redefining ethnicity.

Anytway, per the gorls on twitter Sean Carter is Creole via his father and Allen Parish. Cute he and his wife are both Creoles. His mothers roots are VA.

and even if jay wasn't joking in that instance and his grandmama actually told him "we got indian in our family"

(which isn't a far fetched possibility considering how common the story is in AMERICA as a WHOLE)

that's fine too.

king honored his "cherokee" roots for a few seconds on camera, then continued his work of spending years teaching Blu how beautiful her Blackness is.

love to see it, and the minutes fas spent talking about his intentionality with Blu in this video clip is what stuck out to me the most.

Yeah like go turn that fake concern about "I got Indian in my family" to white ppl. And most of these white ppl claiming it aren't even completely from settlers blood. They are a combo of settlers + Ellis Islanders. $5 Indians

People lose sleep over an ADOS uttering the word "Indian." Black Seminoles and Black people having to sue tribes with paperwork for their ancestors is a thing.
Sean was joking and u can tell.
But if ppl really tripping over that comment they would die over Chitown's finest Chaka being in full headdress repping her Blackfoot heritage back in the day.
I am pretty sure the Norwood's "got Indian" MS was blanketed in tribes. Freedman towns, plantations, and reservations at times were near each other. Many tribes were slave owners. It is what it is ADOS is a unique lineage. Somebody (ADOS) is going to find they are blood to the unfortunate situation of a confederate general, to being related to an illustrious member and the great Buffalo Soldiers
