a gurl here thinks you should be stomping the yard over this list, give her what she's he's asking for babes :tistheseas:
If they are basing it off hits, impact, and Billboard success no Mario - Let Me Love You on here is kinda crazy. That could've took Amy Winehouse place b/c i don't consider her R&B

Clearly not when that The-Dream song didn't hit Top 20. A little Google Search wouldn't hurt.

Where in there did I mention that yall should have ALREADY been complaining? Re-read it, Boo
Having CASSIE Ho ass on this list and not Brandy
:disgusted:
Yeah. Her no talent gold diggin ass don't belong ANYWHERE NEAR a list like this.
Cassie made the list but Brandy didn't? Be serious. "Full Moon" and "What About Us?" alone deserved consideration. You can't talk about 2000s R&B and leave Brandy out like she wasn't part of shaping the sound of the genre.

Complex sit yo ass down
That's not even Usher's top R&B song of the time period
Where is Alicia's Fallen?
Where is Badu's Love of My Life?
Where is Brandy's Full Moon?
Where is John Legend's Ordinary People?
If Umbrella isn't pop, where is Crazy in Love?

Surprised Full Moon didn't make the list.

No 'You Rock My World'......throw that list away

that's a different genre than r&b bby
The roots of R&B are Gospel. Single Ladies is basically "call and response", it even has the church clap :-/

I don't get why so many don't know all of this. Folks really listening to music and don't know what they are listening to.
Single Ladies is definitely R&B and what about us was huge. I can't believe it's not included on this list at LEAST . There are a few good choices here, though I must say.
