I actually go into your threads and listen to the songs

but someone was telling me that they really don't use "blacks" over there, we were talking about asian racism. they even call tanned asians black and treat them different

then I found this vidya and other articles


they also don't use ppl over a certain weight

but am wondering, it seems like their pop music is more derived from 90's-00's black music

I only ask cause I've been kinda bopping to some of the music you've posted, so I kinda wanted to know how you felt about it since you know a lot more?

Korea is a mess. They really only use the blacks that aren't from Africa.
And even then, it's not that much.

They love to do "black music" and emulate black culture but it seems like every month one of them is dressing in blackface or saying something stupid

Well black people are literally non existent in Korea. All they know of blacks is how they've been portrayed by the media. They definitely love black culture though and love to emulate it through their image and music though. I think a lot of them are just ignorant rather than racist.
