She's doing her such a big favor by keeping her hair manipulation and chemical free. Allowing it to grow and flourish without restrictions -- constantly being gelled down, tied up, PULLED back, fried with a hotcomb, gently baked with all types of blowdryers....
It's funny how other races can let their kids run around with their hair in its natural state and it's cute, but when a child with tightly coiled hair is out and about, their mother is reckless, a perm needs to be SLAPPED in their head.....etc. etc.
All that pulling, tugging and mess on the hair can break it off. Yes it looks "cute" but at what expense to her child? Beefasa knows what she's doing. Giving a child a fair chance to decide what should be done to their hair, once they're old enough to have a say. And it'll be nice, full and healthy. Not the hair of a 30 year old woman at 10 years old.

Your shock is interesting.
It's become so commonplace in our community that it's not even a second thought.

You would think after so many years of being called bald headed, losing edges, and not being able to grow your hair past your ears would have been an eye opener to some but nope.
These girls still drench their babies in perms
And people wonder, "well, she's Beyonce...the diva of all divas, why is her child looking like that?"
Well, Beefasa made a CHOICE in her life to be the weavalicious diva that she is. She chose to be in a business that demands that she keep a certain appearance to maintain her brand and maker her money. That does NOT mean she should make that same decision for her daughter. And I commend her for remaining strong in her commitment to her child regardless of what the public has to say.

A lot do. Easier to manage I guess.
I remember vividly, my sister's screams from the burning of the perm my mom used to put in her head ever couple months when we were kids. :plzstop:
It did a whole lot of damage to my sister's hair. When she became an adult, she was able to repair it back to healthy. Now she has a full, thick & long head of hair.

alot of black people hate even the sight of Natural Kinky black hair.
Especially older people.
This new natural hair movement from both boys & girls have all the older blacks around me so shook.
Out here begging folks to get hair cuts and perms

You don't know anything about WOMEN'S hair.
Just because you're going naturally trying to give easy breezy
Just stick to what you KNOW and not what you THINK you know.
My mother put chemicals at my hair at a very young age & at the age of 28 last year I chopped off my damaged hair and my hair grew fine.
Women have different hair altogether compared to men.
Just please stick to the gay beauty supply swap meat you go to.
Leave the beauty supply TRUE tips to real women and stop trying to be one. :dead:
Although i notice these days YOUNGER black women are letting their bvys hair grow naturally and freely.

And even with my niece, my sister spends eons making it cute
Seems weird to do that to a kid
