Title: Being straightforward with people
Post by: Herb. on March 20, 2016, 06:59:41 PM
How do you guys feel about it?

I'm learning that getting straight to the point is more effective than beating around the bush. Saying your piece, being clear with it, and keeping it moving along.

I've learned that its also a regional thing.

In NYC, people are known for getting straight to the mess, no chaser. :dead: it's really the NYC attitude. it's so fast paced that no one has time to slow down and be extra cautious I suppose.
but here in the south, people are so much more easy on things. they beat around the bush, they're a lot more shady with their mess.

Yes. But never do it with ill intentions. Always with love.

Unless the point is to drag cause they had it coming or something.

I've definitely been learning that in my day to day as well. Saves the confusion :dead: you can agree or disagree, but I associate beating around the bush with passive aggressiveness and that just won't DO

Can't fucking stand it or respect it

You can be tactful and still get your point across, but don't sugarcoat

I've noticed this a lot living down south. People here can be very passive aggressive and feel as though it's more respectful to not say anything at all. It's phony.

I'm always straightforward with people.

I don't have any friends, but my family loves me.   :letsmessfag:
