Why are y'all acting so clueless? She's sampling and referencing old James brown music and she's a white woman.
Not to say there's something wrong but Maybe that's what he's referring to? :young:

Thank You..
maybe i didn't say the right " word" but that's what meant.
In france, they say "black music" , because they don't say " noir"..
so it's more appropriate to say " black music".
What kinda 1960s shit, that's offensive imo.
aw he got some supporters lolz

Not loving this tbh...cute, but I just dunno...not completely moved.
And referencing a legend that transcended all and was just popular all around doesn't equate to being R&B or "Black". I just think it sounds fckn ignorant
She's so fresh for these first two singles.
Like I wouldn't Expect a pop girl to record these.

why do u hate me so much. Like really?
That's not even a game or something.; that's just nasty.
I can feel the hate behind the screen. It's scary.
My point is....the lack of supports for Black artists with old school music.
Meghan is doing old school blakc music and she's having some big hits with IT;
Brandy just released an old school and catchy record.. nothing
if meghan sung Beagin and Pleadin.. it would have been the greatest thing in the industry....
That's my point here.
If Monica had released this song.
yall would be here laughin at her.. but with Meghan... it's like .." what the french guy is talking about".
Fuck outta here.
so u mad ?

so u mad ?
no.. just kinda sad..
Her fist single sounds exactly like a kandi record.. and if kandi had sung it.. it would like "ooh get out of the 90's oldbitch etc.."
but not with meghan.
Hate u? Boy i don't even know u, my name ain't tonio. I couldn't care less about u. Im just takin issue with music being "black" because it references a black artist that EVERYBODY knows or has production that aint bubblegum. And the fact that a country calls a genre of music "black music" is completely offensive imo. Is there a white music genre?

Brandy hasnt sent her song to radio or promoted it.
so thats not really a good argument
with that being said where the hell is the vidya and preformances Bran.

And btw none of this was a point in here. U didn't say any of this and there was no point other than this hoe is releasing a black album. Brandy song isn't even officially out. And neither this song nor her first single are big hits, so it sounds like a bunch of bullshit that ur speaking rn
NO is huge in America Hun.
And honestly meghan has already spoke on focusing on other genres of music in her family band when coming up.
Every white person doesn't exclusively make pop music. Some people just make music that they love
oh, BLACK MUSICPeople are so narrow minded.

That aint some no damn "black" record
In Germany R&B and hip hop are summarized as Black.
We have an official Black chart as well as in CD Stores there is section for Black music, encompassing what the U.S. would call R&B and hip hop (ergo urban radio).

Does that not bother anyone there? Are black people the only people that do urban music? Hip hop and R&B isn't done by anything other than black people over there? If a white person DOES do an R&B track, does it chart on the "black" chart?

There are plenty non-blacks on the
Deutsche Black Charts. The chart is not for black people but for the genre which they call
Black, in German the word for black is "schwarz", so we don't think of color when we hear
Black, people immediately think of a type of music. It's a loan word that now describes a genre. It doesn't mean the color black.
not a black chart and genre fffffv;
I guess. Sounds like some ol backwoods shit to me, a step away from the "colored charts" tbh
!!!!!!!!!!!!! :uhh:
I'm not defending it, I'm just explaining.
I think they had to change it to "Urban" now. But people still say Black.
The R&B charts on billboard was called the black singles/album chart all the way until the late 80s and I personally found that offensive as fuck too. Here's the deal: Some people don't think without saying anything. I know that people in France and Germany call R&B music urban music or even soul music. I find the whole calling R&B music black music highly offensive.
corny.
I really want to read the fuck out of that faggot. But I'm in a good mood tonight.

It use to be called "black" charts in America as well right? Before it being switched to r&b?
Yeah....over 30 years ago. It's STILL called that in some of these fckin "post racial" countries
Hold the fuck up. This is IT!
