Well it's actually just as powerful as the iPhone 6S Plus...so it's not really late. The hardware inside is new. Just an older design for those who don't like bigger screen phones.

Yeah but it's still three times faster than the original 5S. People don't buy phones just for the look of it. A lot of government agencies who have contracts with Apple will buy this phone, as it is cheaper and will continue to support their business needs for their employees. They have already "booked" the commercial aspect of their company, now it is time to take over the world of business and government. Something Samsung would never be capable of doing.
