Title: I finally understand saying "nigga" and "phaggit".... or why ppl do

I accidentally told one of my boys to "hush phagg" on Sat night

and he was REALLY kinda tight the rest of the night all the way into yesterday, I didn't really understand at first until he brought it up

I trust him and I'm completely comfortable around him, (which is why I had the conversation with him that boys like me too and I'm ok with it)

but he was confused, I had to explain to him that it has been used as an insult, but turning it around is kind of showing love and conquering that hatred

and I think it kinda made me understand that whole nigger vs. nigga argument better too

do yawl agree?

I legit don't say fag as a term of endearment outside of here or twitter (sometimes).
When I say it, I mean it in a disrespectful/hateful way when I am provoked. Like.. Stupid Fag.

I think the whole re-appropriation argument should be decided by the group the term is used against, i.e, women calling each other bitches, black people calling each other niggas.

The word "fag" just seems vicious and nasty to alot of people in general. I don't know any gays offline that would like to be called that.
