FRANKIE GRANDE
Frankie Grande is a television star, theatre actor, producer, and social media influencer. His vivacious personality, creativity and passion for performance has garnered him much praise and media attention throughout his career. Born in New York City, Grande and developed a love for performing at a very young age. After graduating from Muhlenberg College a triple major (Biology/Theatre/Dance) he was cast as Boots the Monkey in a national tour of Dora the Explorer Live! Immediately following that tour, he was cast in Mamma Mia on Broadway where he performed for three years. Through his work on Broadway, Grande gained a love for producing theater. In 2009, he produced Hamlet on Broadway, which starred Jude Law and generated many positive reviews. He went on to produce La B?te (2010?11) starring David Hyde Pierce, and Born Yesterday (2011) starring Jim Belushi. He also produced Brooke Shields' one-woman cabaret show in 2011. It was during this time that Frankie began his one YouTube channel, frankiejgrande, which has since garnered more than 18 million views and eventually led to him creating ?Livin La Vida Grande,? a one-man cabaret show where he performed his favorite songs, impersonations, and skits inspired by his wildly successful YouTube channel and love for theatre. In April 2015 MTV?s ?America?s Best Dance Crew All Stars: Road to the VMAs,? announced Grande as a new judge on the network?s dance competition show. The show will begin taping in July of 2015 and ends at MTV?s Video Music Awards in the end of August. On August 18th Grande?s new half-hour special ?WORST.POST.EVER: With Frankie Grande,? airs on Oxygen. Singer, dancer/choreographer, actress, model, skateboarder; it?s safe to say that Teyana Taylor is a multi-faceted powerhouse who was born to entertain. Introduced to the world by her extravagant MTV ?My Super Sweet 16?, then prot?g? to Pharrell Williams, Teyana Taylor was quickly dubbed a star by fans and critics alike. With her unique style, big personality and wide range of talents, many became instantly fascinated with the one of a kind triple threat.
Born December 10, 1990, the Harlem bred beauty?s life has been on a steady trajectory towards stardom.
Remembered as a spunky charismatic child, Teyana always showed a love for dancing, but at the age of 8 she began to discover her talent for singing. Years later at 14 years old, she decided to take her gift of singing seriously and perfect her many crafts through training and dedication. Shortly after, she would be chosen as the featured dancer in Jay-Z?s ?Blue Magic? video. Within a year and a half?s time, Taylor had worked with two of her favorite artists, experiences that still touch her, ?Receiving that kind of love coming from Jay and Beyonc?, was really crazy. I?ll never forget it?, she recalls.
Showing a promising future in entertainment, a fated meeting would solidify her path, resulting in her idol Pharrell Williams signing Teyana to his Star Trak label in 2006 at the mere age of 15. After releasing her debut single in 2008 ?Google Me?, Taylor and Star Trak would eventually agree to mutually dissolve their contract in 2010. Williams, still remaining one of her mentors, and Teyana both agreed on her being able to explore her passions without any longer having the pressures of a label commitment. However, prior to parting ways with her Star Trak/Interscope family, Teyana was able to add a couple of more notches up under her belt, adding to her already impressive resume. One being artist development for Interscope signee and label mate Ester Dean. Also grabbing the attention of yet another one of her idols Kanye West. Mr. West had already been drawn to Teyana due their mutual love for fashion, resulting in her landing a major feature on his 2010 Platinum/Grammy Award winning album ?My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy?. Taylor lent her sultry vocals to the albums kick off cut ?Dark Fantasy?, which also featured Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver, as well as crooning out back up vocals on the album cuts ?Runaway? and ?Hell Of A Life?. Making for a seamless transition. Shortly after, Teyana wasted no time getting down to business by penning songs for Chris Brown, Willow Smith, and a slew of others.
