So she did slate it as her first single. I really think GHan was testing the waters to see how well she could push something without label support. It's my theory but I think evidence supports it pretty well.
that's exactly what it was. like YOU and I both stated

Nothing in here proves anything, just let it tf go :dead:

JESUS CHRIST I dunno who you are but you are doing the absolute most. Move the hell on guh :uhh:
It was her first single and still is. her reintroduction
I think the problem is people comparing it to all the previous first singles and what usually follows when you release a "first single", but everything she and Jeff robinson/the rest of that gang have been doing, is unconventional to an extent and i think they like that. I think she's doing everything for the right reasons and is now ok either way, in terms of whether a song is poppin or not on the charts
She saw and felt the impact that song made and it was way bigger than people want to remember. The cast of color purple singing along in the car, Sam smith, Leann Rimes, Jessie J, Jazmine sullivan, Fantasia, all the blogs and critics RAVING. every last one got to hear Brandy and share Brandy in a way thats never been the case before. She truly let loose and reawakened that creative fire and its about to be the craziest thing. Beggin n Pleadin' is literally just the beginning of her turning the industry upside down and it doesn't have to reflect on the charts. You already know how influential Brandy is and thats truly what matters more than anything else, in my honest opinion. She's already inspired everyone but this right here is going to be incomparable and stand on its own

I just saw the two pages.
You can tell just from the 1st page that some people on here dont like when they are the ones shaded, lol.
Its ironic, because when they act like that, they expect to be funny themself. when someone else does, "gurl" "n" "m" "go the f*** out". pleeeeeeeea
