he sounds bad and shes barely on it because its a demo with some "let me see how this sounds here" vocals. it should not be introduced as "new aaliyah" at all. The beat is horrible I wouldnt have tried to write to it.
Aaliyah was filming two movies during the production of this album, they were bringing her stuff on the fly on some "do this real quick" mess. Thats why so many of these unreleased tracks are barely sang on. They were ideas they brought to her and she either liked where the song was goin (Aaliyah album) or they ended up like Shakin and this.
I want to hear the version with Drake.
I still can't believe Timbaland hasn't released any unreleased mess from her yet... He tried it with the "Shakin" song b/c that wasn't a song he originally produced and he has said before he has shit in his vault...

That true... I was listening to "Don't Know What To Tell Ya" yesterday and I was like damn Li, Static & Tim was a force together, I can only imagine what else is left

Static always sounded bad on demos. It was really a testament to her ear and vocals to how she reworked the songs.

This is clearly a demo mess, but the beat actually has potential if they were to clean it up and make it better.
