we're all just simply in a block of time that will come to pass and it'll continue to progress way beyond our death.

we're also less than 100 years away from the civil rights movement.
the fact that I have relatives who are still alive who witnessed it in action, says a LOT.
We like to think we're a lot further removed from these things than we really are.

it's like I remember things before the big technology boom, but at the same time I feel like it was always there.
It's crazy though I wasn't wed to have a flip phone until I was 13 and back then adults considered that too young. These children now come out tweeting.
