I agree though. It was really nice hearing her in the clubs. A very different experience and something I wanted from her for a WHILE. PID took me back to the NSN era. She was all OVER radio. She was onto something.... I really wish she would just STICK with this lane and take the sound to the next level.
Now why sis didnt come right the fuck back with DYK, I'll never understand... that song could've been bigger than PID.
:melmel:
A lot of non fans def got into the song, and bit was on the radio every hour on the hour
It was nice observing that
I never had the opportunity to experience that yet as a STAN until then

PID was everything that a lot of Bran's fans wanted. I for one wanted to hear her in the clubs. Her last two albums were too emotional. And all her singles were about heartbreak and were so down (Who Is She 2 U, TAOL, Right Here, Long Distance, What About Us, etc). I just CRAVED for a happy song. A feel good record. And she delivered.
Bran's look slayed during 2/11.
Both videos.
Ugh.
I will never forget when I first heard PID in the club...they had this big screen monitor playing the video too.
I was like

PID is iconic.
It was everywhere! Can't imagine where it would've charted if released today. It was drowned out by all the EDM mess on the charts back then
