A friend of mine from college was clowning me about one of my exes that wore a little makeup (foundation, no contoured mess out) and carried purses. He saw him in Atlanta and remembered when we used to date. The guy was very gender fluid and his confidence is what attracted me to him. He was also super attractive and sweet.
Would you ever date a guy that wore makeup or female-assigned garments? Or have you?
No. But I have a friend who is like that. He's a white, gay twink. :supluv:
Pretty sure I could have hooked up with him by now or dated him, but I'm just not attracted to him in that way tbh. :-/
No.
Say what ya'll want, but I personally need a man that's masculine. A man's man tbh.

I would. I wear eyeliner sometimes myself. I like the dark.
For me, it's always been about someone's confidence and security with who they are. There are a ton of insecure "masculine" guys and vice versa. I remember people used to stare us DOWNE when we went out and he remained unbothered.
If I feel like I can walk all over you, we ain't dating. Tbcfh.

I wish I could say yes...but no.
I don't think I could date someone who was into their looks more than me lol
I like simple guys.
And I don't see the whole ground rules about "masculine" guys acting a certain way. I give no fucks.
You could've just asked "do you like fems"

Meh, a face plastered in makeup, probably not.
A bit of eyeliner or masc' here and there is okay.

I didn't use it because it is a foolish term IMO. Answer the question or move along.
Nah

No.
The most feminine thing my bf does is a 4 count vogue and I knew I reaaaaaaally liked his ass when I wasn't turned off by it.
n
No, It's disgusting.
:dead: No.
No. If I wanted someone that wore makeup and carried a purse, I would've dated a woman.
However... if a guy was just trying to cover a blemish or two and kept it natural looking. Probably. But not foundation, those drawn on and threaded eyebrows and mess.
Yes and I already have

No. I would just date a woman instead.
I dont think makeup has anything to do with being a woman or man tbh.
fff this woman response is LATE.
:omgwatshappening:
It sounds bad but I like masculine men.. Dominate and fit

Make-up AND purse though? No ma'am
I could deal with someone being metro...but makeup and a purse...HELL NAW
NOPE! I like masculine men as well, b/c those are the guys I'm personally attracted to, I'm sure there's somebody out there for them thou
It wouldn't be my first choice but I'm open to it. Or I've become more open to it as I get older...I should say.
The comments in this thread are how the majority of our community feels. We are all looking for the same damn thing. Meaning, some of us are gonna end up alone cause there aren't enough masculine gay/bi sexual men to go around. :dead:
I don't think most of the community really feels this way. I think we're conditioned to THINK we all feel this way. At the end of the day, you like what you like and if you meet the right person the extra shit doesn't matter IMO.

well...what exactly qualifies as a purse? I occasionally carry a little over the shoulder messenger bag, but I don't do makeup.

I guess satchels and messengers are technically purses, but I was referring to a Birkin bag or a large tote that isn't completely clockable

If you're talking about a fem guy. The answer is still no. I'll be friends with him but that's about it. But there are some straight men who wear makeup too...
I can't even do arched eyebrows. It's a huge turnoff to me

Probably not, but I don't see the huge difference between makeup and guys who have like 8000 skincare products in their bathroom. You both wanna look good.
