Back in January, just days before ?Work? was released and the peak of the ?ANTI? drought, Rihanna spent a week in Paris filming scenes for Luc Besson?s new sci-fi epic ?Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets?.
Details of RiRi?s role and the film itself have been limited until now, besides knowing the blockbuster also stars the singer?s pal Cara Delevingne, however a teaser clip was shown at Comic Con and it got everyone talking.
Vulture reported on the ?jaw-dropping? scene, revealing she plays an alien stripper and has a ?dance? scene that will supposedly take our breaths away.
?DeHaan knows exactly what he wants, zeroing in on a brothel run by Ethan Hawke, who swans toward DeHaan adorned in fluorescent fabrics and a Jane Child nose-ring chain?Hawke asks DeHaan what kind of girl he?s in the mood for. ?Retro,? says DeHaan, and fortunately, Hawke has just the thing: He sits the spaceman down for a private show as a bowler-clad performer appears on stage, straddling a chair. The woman turns to the camera, and thank the heavens above, it?s fucking Rihanna. (Sexy space Rihanna, y?all!) Serving up a Sally Bowles look, Velma Kelly glamour, and Rihanna Rihanna-tude, Space Rihanna gets ready to slay her dance number ? and then the clip cuts out.?
According to Rihanna?s co-star Dane DeHaan, the pair spent two weeks working on the scene and described the final cut by saying, ?You guys don?t even know, Rihanna?s part is so crazy.?

Unfortunately, we have to wait one whole year to see the singer in action as ?Valerian? will be released on 21 July 2017. I?m sure it?ll be worth the wait.
