How do you have the longest running No.1 and No.2 singles?
How are both of those songs Billboards Song of the Decade for the 90's and 2000's?
Mariah...I just....
Monica really shat with her three back to back #1's you easily forget she was a mainstream pop star at one point.

I'm screaming. Mon STAYED in the Top 10 back then.

And three consecutive #1s? That must be a record in itself. This "FLOPica" title certainly wouldn't have fit back then.
Tamia has a beautiful family! 👨👩👧👦
Whit Mimi Bran Mon :stressed:
wow Bran helped Mon so much. she owes her career for being her rival and collaborator. :stressed:

Kept sis at #2 for 3 weeks.
:dead:
But it's ok. She was right behind the LONGEST #1 song in history.
It had to pan out that way.
:ohwow:
And yes FLOPica slayed.
She NEARLY become the YOUNGEST female artist to TOP the Hot 100 with "Just One of Them", at 14.
The days when R&B ruled the charts :stressed:
Brandy and FLOPica slayed it.
Brandy became the youngest artist period, to have back to back #1s with "I WANNA BE" and "BABY"... and FLOPica took the title the following year with "JUST ONE" and "BEFORE YOU WALK"... she still holds that title.
:stressed:
Not to mention... Brandy held the record for the BIGGEST jump into the Top 5 with "BABY" 60-5... until the digital era started with Kelly Clarkson and them.
Also, BRANDY/FLOPica and The Beatles had the record for the BIGGEST jump to #1, (23-1) and (27-1), respectively... until the digital era started.
Billboard acknowledges them still, since they know the digital era allowed for those jumps to happen more frequently.
:stressed:
It's a honor to be in the history books considering the AMOUNT of music that is released and has been released since 1958.
