That's what Details magazine is making it seem like on their September issue, which features an all male model assembly. Where are the caramels? Light Browns? Redbones? What you guys think?

Tall, slim blonde hair and white. They are automatically considered attractive by us standards
Fashion models aren't necessarily to be viewed as "hot" or "sexy". They're just a hanger for clothes, therefore most are bland looking ghosts.
Damn only 3 black models out of 100?

They fucking wish. :kii: Ghetto, section 8, upside down Dorito built bitch liking your pic for free translates to none.
We already know blackness is limited in a multitude of industries. I was just making mention of the fact that even with a small quantities of black models they're dark skin. Moreover, they don't even look american.

they figure you get a few darkies from africa and you wont bitch too much about being discriminated against when theres only 3 spots out of 1000
Truth: Black people are the only ones who go up for the light skins.
White people like dark skin and ethnic features. If you look at the guys white women go up for its 90% dark. Same for white guys who like black women. Whites like their coffee strong. No cream no sugar.

:ohwow: preach a bit
I've definitely witnessed that @GYNandTONIC, but I wouldn't say white people aren't stuck on our hues. It has been used as divide and conquer in Lynch's letter and the house and field theory. I've also heard light skin black people say they felt like they were treated better by some whites because they were lighter.

I understand what you're saying. But I'm talking about from a sexual/romantic standpoint in modern times.
Lighter blacks typically worked in the house because they were viewed as non-threating not better ( they got the same whippings). Which gave the impression to blacks that lighter is better....but really it meant lighter is safer. Even in todays corporate america lighter or mixed blacks tend to advance for the same reason.
However, blacks interpret that as better means more attractive. Which isnt the case. Most slave masters raped the Lupita's not the Beyonces....typically free blacks wanted the Beyonces. Masters wives were getting Mandigo dick in the shack not in the house. To whites (generally speaking) darker blacks more physically attractive. Thats why Naomi and Tyson kind of made Tyra and Boris second rate models. In interracial porn it's almost always a darker partner. Even white make up artist love to paint darker girls because they are fascinated by their skin tone. The message of white percieved black beauty is everywhere. Just look around
