Question:
Who shat the most
Option 1: Timbaland
Option 2: Darkchild
Option 3: The Neptunes
:ohwow:
Gotta go with Tim
Out of these...Timbaland. Not even close
Timbaland
Timb' was ahead of his time
Timb >>>
Who the fuck else could put baby noises on track and have it slay.
Timbaland, definitely. Been my fave ever since I was a kid.
The Neptunes are def close
Wait this is hard but Tim
I luv the others too tho
Toss up between Tim & Neptunes
Rodney.
His progession... The way he build his beat. How everything was so complex and overproduced.
A genius.
I'm still listening to songs from 98-06, hearing some subtle shit I'd never heard before, and getting fucking CHILLS.
Darkchild >>>
The way LaShawn created the adlibs as well... UGHHH. This fucking TRIO was SOMETHING.
I prefer tim but the neptunes are really great as well
Rodney
Just amazing and I think he has way more hits left in him
Porkchild>>>>
Timbaland changed the landscape of music.
Nineties R&B is either pre-Tim or post-Tim to me. He influenced everything.
The Neptunes are gifted. True musicians with Timbaland's crazy instincts. I think Tim could have done so much more if he had their musicianship. Funny how they worked together pre-fame.
The fact that the Neptunes produced "Use Your Heart." :loose2when:

Everything about that song is smooth
702's 'Trouble' those repetitive guitar stabs
and 'I Still Love You'>>> the VIBE
His ear for strings>>>>
I'm torn. None of the other 2 have put together a better album than NSN and Full Moon. However, Tim is a genius and a true musician and transcends all genres. I loved his albums too. Tim's work on Afro is also her most critically acclaimed too. Darkchild though really was the mastermind behind some of the biggest and best R&B songs ever.

Yes, they did some of their early work for them.
Their hip-hop tracks were popular, but I much preferred their R&B and midtempos.
I Still Love You. :loose2when:
Use Your Heart is my favorite SWV song
I was going to say Tim, but all his songs are samples. So I picked Rodney because he approaches from a musician standpoint. He doesn't just loop the same sound over and over, but he makes the song build, adds instruments and new sounds throughout. Plus he's responsible for NSN and FM.

I liked rodney but i just think he was as creative as the other two
rodney was pretty good like Tim he transcend across genres as well ...just wondering why JD name wasn't listed tho
JD wasn't as good or noted like those 3
I think Darkchild is more musical and versatile, but I could be wrong I guess
Gonna go wth Rodney
1.Tim
2.Neptunes
3.Rodney
4.Missy
I connect most with Timbaland. He was/is crazy.

I think the Neptunes were more versatile, but Rodney was def more musical
As far as who made the most shit I fuck with, across multiple artists, Timbaland.
Talent wise, I feel like Tim is light years more creative BUT Rodney has the ability to do what Tim does, however, I don't know if Tim is as classically adept as Rodney as far as the construction of a full song. Nobody fucks with Tims syncopation though omg. I think this is what rubbed off and got me stanning for Rod tracks like Anybody and I Wanna Fall In Love and You Don't Know Me Remix. Off kilter drum patterns weaken me every time.
The neptunes although talented sounded samey imo. They used the fuck out of those synth guitars.
OMG who remembers that Fabolous video "Holla Back" where the Neptunes had the main song and then it switched to Tims "Click and Spark" dhdudhdufuf

The Neptunes only did "Star" and "I Still Love You" on that album
All three of them slay tho. Probably the most "interesting" of the 90s. But Tim dhdudhdufuf "The Rain" came on the radio this morning. Bitch.
We take it for granted. But place yourself at a considerable age around that time and hearing these New Jack Swing messes, regular run of the mill produced Pop/R&B tunes, and then The Rain. Revolutionary. He's everything
Lonz, nigga..."Love Me" :stressed:
Gotta go with Tim. He kind of DOMINATED
