NY is too big and expensive. In DC, Ethiopian immigrants can easily find a job and adjust to American living.
Ethiopians are nice people.
I remember I had a conversations with this one girl and she was telling me when she was growing up she thought all African Americans were just African immigrants and that white people were native to the country. Crazy how the media can distort reality so well.
