It is baffling to me how literally almost all the female cast members in all the L&HH franchises at one point turn into lesbians... Or happen to be bisexuals...
From Mimi, Margeaux, Joseline, Ariane, Jessica Dime, K. Michelle, Kalenna, Tommie and Ashley in Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta to Erica Mena, Cyn Santana, Somaya Reece in Love & Hip Hop NY and now Ms. Nikki Baby, Moniece on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood...
You would think the gorls would fear some type of loss of the straight black woman, and ppl being outraged by this gay agenda, but them negros is mighty quiet. Let that have been the amount of bisexual and gay men and it'd be a problem.
Why do you think lesbianism in Love & Hip Hop is so prevalent... ? Especially on the Atlanta one? Are they making a mockery of female homosexuality, are women naturally more inclined to homoeroctic behavior, does Mona cast bisexuals cause she likes them?
Any theories here?
they are?
Most of these gorls aren't lesbos. They need something to spice up their story line.
Is it not disrespectful to true lesbians, to just downplay it as some time of gimmick you can take off and on.

Am wondering!

Well
Black women are also some of the biggest closet cases ever
So, sdddddddd
Maybe some of them are actually dykes.
Lolz huh
I think they just pretend for the camera..it is just another storyline
Most of these girls were also strippers at some point so I don't think they have a problem with putting on a show evry now and then without bring ashamed
lls
ima dyke tbh
Somebody should write a thesis on this or do a video about and analyze it, there are some underlying issues which facilitate these double standards and cause this gimmickization of female homosexuality.
Yes it is interesting and someone needs to write a thesis on why these big stripper asses are being presented as perfection on L&HH even though it messes up their whole body shape (K Michelle is the worst, Nikki plastic can pull it off I guess). Is it the American Dream? Of the stripper becoming a superstar? If they can make it all the viewers at home can make it too
Don't forget Kalenna
It's definitely a double standard and its late now...

I listed her. It is baffling how it seems like a requirement for a female to be bisexual, or how they are the only ones open with their sexuality or they are so encouraged by this reinforced objectification of women, that they feel less inhibited to just starting to mess with them...
It basically proves that the heterosexual man is still the center of the universe. Because he as the consumer benefits the most from this portrayal of women.
:overit:
This lesbian fest
People in general have been more lenient or ambilvalent towards lesbians in general, it?s been that way historically. It?s only in certain circles where it?s still taboo. Women are generally socialized emotionally and many men find female/female action erotic, so they can more comfortably explore their sexuality.
every bitch is LESBIAN now on this fucking show
like gtfoh Mona
I mean Mona did manage Missy
this is what shes used to
ffjkkk
I was honestly just thinking this when I watched the clip of Erica & Tommie.
I'm like, how is the entire female cast always bisexual. It's a joke and Mona needs to quit.
it seems like a requirement for the show you have to be a lezzy lol
