Dave Grohl will perform on ABC's Taking the Stage -- Changing America, a two-hour program celebrating the opening of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. The Foo Fighters frontman will play alongside R&B and funk group Trouble Funk during the ceremony. Other performers on the Taking the Stage lineup include Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Usher,Christina Aguilera and Common. Taking the Stage -- Changing America will be filmed at D.C.'s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on September 23. The special will air on ABC during the 2016-2017 TV season.
