Mi padre se naci? en Santo Domingo, pero no es dominicano. Mis padres son afro americanos. Ellos me nombraron en honor del muralista Diego Rivera.

My Spanish almost slays my English, which is practically perfect also lol lol
:ohhey:
Bor said my French sounds like a Swedish person speaking French. Nnnn
I still need to perfect my accent there
:stressed:
But my Spanish is Colombian down with PR inflections.
And I got Ebonics 101 and Standard American English down pack lolz.
:letsmessfag:
My accent is unclockable. People really think I am of Spanish decent, and having the name Diego doesn't help matters either. I used to speak/write it more regularly, but I don't get the chance much these days. One of my undergrad degrees is in Latin American literature. I fucking love languages.

He wants to say "Let them persue you!", instead of "Leave so they will follow you".

But wait.
Quotedown packed is just a more common variation of its sister phrase "down pat," meaning to have something memorized or perfected.
:receipts:
Pack is Ebonics for packed, so it all goes full circle.

African Americans hun. It is not about being perfect, because none of you speak perfectly, but about being authentic. :sobusyjetsetter:
If I make a mistake, it is likely a mistake a native would do as well due to a common misconception.

And if you think the majority of African Americans walk around saying 'skrawberry' and 'conversate,' you're mistaken. There's more to us than what you see on reality tv

Well down pack is in the Urban Dictionary, I am sure many natives make that mistake lol. You are right not every single AA speaks like that, but the fact remains they are native speakers who might derrive from what is deemed Standard american English.
How do I put this. My mistakes give more of a Steffon tease, than Steevy.

I mean is Charlamagne not a native anymore. He says "skreets" all the time and fucks up all kinds of words, but obviously he speaks English. That is the point.

I started law but I couldn't be bothered. It will be my second Bachelor's, I did one in English and Arabic philology as well. But over here I can easily work as a journalist and thankfully we have good salaries here. If I paid for my education however like in the States I probably would have done a natural science.
