:uhh: these numbers. AND these are the BIGGEST debuts?

I remember when a music release use to be an EVENT!

Turn to TRL you'd see them on there, turn to 106 & Park you'd see them on there.
They'd get special episodes. Access Granted, Behind the Scenes, MTV Diary, etc.

somebody needs to fix this  :uhh:

Well, people don't feel the need to buy music, when you can stream it for free.

and really, the changes with Billboard make sense

I still buy albums (out of love for the artist) but I've been paying for a subscription streaming service for a few years now

I just hope they continue to make changes to benefit the artist

It's booking yet it would still be considered LOW if this were back then.

Didn't DC sell 663,000 their first week with Survivor?
:ohwow:

I was talking about this with my fren

I think this is great!

Perfect opportunity for independent artists to swarm and get their piece of the pie!

The world was just so used to having 1-3 great super talents.

But the emergence of social media helped in the sense, so many more talents have a chance to promote their craft easily.

So by all means if 20k of K Michelle's opening numbers are taken from her and divided between 10 indie artists, I love it. Spread the love and guwop
