Like with Brandy for example . She's been so persecuted and ridiculed over the years . Now look . She's being honored by BET as a lady of soul for decades of her hard work . When you're an underdog or underappreciated for so long and the sun finally shines on you it's more powerful . Whereas when you've attracted too much attention too soon; bragging about your ancestry and trying to be something you aren't eventually you fail . And it's less graceful .

I really have to fully read these original posts before I comment.

i think brandy is in the best position an artist could be in for so long shes been able to consistently do her thing without much pressure
part of that is due to sonja early on making sure shit was in order and she was blocking alot of vultures early on
and now shes not so big where shes crashing and shes not so small that shes going noticed either its really great
