Rita Ora still has plans to put forth a new album.
Ora risked a slap on the wrist from her label for sharing two seconds of a new song off her forthcoming LP, but it was a much-needed reminder she still has her head in the game.
Since 2012?s debut album Ora, the songstress has faced an uphill battle to release a fully-formed project. She recorded a pile of material with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, but after their breakup and fallout, the producer blocked her from releasing any material he contributed. Then there was her nasty legal spat with then-label Roc Nation, which ultimately ended in a settlement. Now she?s signed with Atlantic, and readying new material (so we think).
During a new appearance on BBC Radio 1, Ora opened up about the impending installment.
?I?m most excited about this record,? Rita said. ?I?ve been working on it for nearly two years. I?ve just been in a really crazy musical state, now to be in a really comfortable environment and grow up in my own skin, to put music out and write my own things.?
She adds there?s ?a lot of live instrumentation and I?ve written everything on my record,? adding: ?It?s just a very organic, authentic album.?

Back in September, Ora told the Evening Standard she?s ?desperate to get [her] music out? to fans, but it?s not the easiest of tasks to take on with her kind of schedule. ?I think I?m now at a point in my life where I have a new amazing label, we really have taken it to the next level. It?s very song-based.?
Later on in that chat, Ora spoke about how her forthcoming LP will include plenty of ?real instruments? and ?believable lyrics.?
?I?ve not only grown as an individual but as a woman. People are going to see that,? she explained. ?It?s just everything from my personal life to what I couldn?t do due to previous situations and now being free. I?ve never been freer than I am right now. It?s about everything from being a refugee, from flying in from Kosovo and living in London.?
i still have hopes for her musically she can really slay with the right material despite her bland ear for music :dead:
