I keep the number in my cell phone. I never fully remembered the number either
Only people who call my parents' house phone are telemarketers
You have a house phone?
My father refuses to get a cell phone so he literally lives like its the 80s. U can't contact him when he isn't home, he gets home and checks the msgs, and he ONLY uses the house line. As a matter of fact, they have two landlines because my mother has a fax line

Well, with kids...
You need a home number for teachers, family, etc.
A solid number that EVERYONE can use.
Cell phones are more personal, IMO.

!!!!!!!!!
That phone is just there ringing all day! it seems it's just there for aesthetic appeal or something.
Wait, I'm lying.
I do have a house phone... But I never used it or found out what the number was.
:dead:
It's attached to my cable bundle (cable, internet, phone) -- cause it gets me a cheaper price vs just having cable and internet.
The cable company said I would be able to connect the house phone to my cell phone.

But wouldn't a cell be more reliable? What if they need to reach out during the daytime, which is most likely the case. Parents aren't typically at home during the day and may not have a work phone.

This is why alot of people have them
I never answer my house phone. The only reason I even have one is because of this Verizon FIOS bundle. I give bill collectors old cellphone numbers.
Haven't had or even called a house phone in at least 5-7 years :dead:

There's an option to have calls directed to your cell.
