This epic underrated album even Brandy doesn't give this album the credit it deserves.

with the 2nd being Fall
:gorlonfire:
True should've definitely been a single. It amazes me that they always get the first single right then fall flat on that second one.
Feliz!
True shouldve been the single over LD, definitely.
True should've def been a single! maybe like 3rd or 4th thou...
Bran kinda needed a mid or uptempo for her 2nd single before jumpin into a ballad, 1st & Love or The Definition should've came 2nd

About time you got some taste.
Hoe :sobusyjetsetter:
ya'll are sleeping on Fall
THAT was the missed hit single
it went right in with the whole Ryan tedder midtempo Pop ballad style of the time
Its not really pertinent in this thread but it goes without saying that Ology is bitch lolz
Fall was single worthy too & Camouflage!
:stressed:
Tbh this was a very single worthy album and it's crazy how they really didn't push it even though it was her first album at the label.

!!!! Or Piano Man, at the time. I was rooting for 1st & Love tho
Omf my mom got me this along with IASF & Fearless by T Swift for Christmas :everythingok:
This album aged really well tho. Better than most of the other R&B from 08/09 does today.
Piano man is the only song that sounds late.
This album definitely came out December 9th
v
Wuznt gonna say anything. Thought it coulda been released in France or somethin early

Think it came out earlier internationally lol
And Long Distance was a better 2nd single than True. It just needed a better video...it should have been a military/war-time related video, especially with all that going on at that time.
Long distance just wasn't soulful enough. They tried it
As soon as she had a chance to record it for her performances she slayed :kii:
I almost heard RHD more on the radio than PID. Heard LD a lil bit too...this was back when Monique was on the radio.
'Long Distance' was a huge Pop song. The craze was Dance
Idk...'True' was the better choice though.

Im sure u did, RHD was a top 40 record. Nothing wrong with the long distance video btw, it was all the song
Long Distance is pretty big in Jamaica :kii:
I love it but it wasnt the best 2nd single I guess. Based on what was popular on the radio in 2008, none of the songs on Human really had a chance to be some huge hit.
oh and Fall is the worst song on the album. Just tragic. That annoying chorus.
her vibrato this era was so SICK
yes Happ' Birth'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hear 'Right Here' quite often in Walgreens.
Didn't "The Definition" chart on its own when the album released?!
