Ciara has dropped her defamation lawsuit against ex-fianc? Future.
The two share one one child together, 2-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn. The lawsuit came after Future spoke disparagingly about Ciara and her now-husband Russell Wilson during a radio interview and then tweeted more about the custody battle over their child, saying she had "control problems."
Ciara responded with a legal filing, accusing Future of criticizing her and her relationship with Wilson to promote his music.
Now TMZ reports that the allegedly $15 million lawsuit has been dropped, citing new documents saying the case has been dismissed "with prejudice," meaning it cannot be refiled.
Both artists have reached a settlement in the defamation lawsuit and custody case, Billboard has confirmed.
Ciara's lawyer refused to comment.
Billboard reached out to Future's lawyer for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
