Grimes infectious dance track "Venus Fly" featuring Janelle Mon?e is getting a seriously polished Final Fantasy-inspired music video. The indie-pop singer has created a music video for nearly every track off her critically acclaimed album Art Angels, but she could be saving the best for last.
In a teaser for the clip, which debuts on Thursday (Feb. 2) exclusively on Tidal, Grimes and Mon?e are otherworldly warrior princesses with angel wings and fiery swords. The song's lyrics paint a nightmarish picture where the two women battle stares from onlookers. "Why you looking at me now?" A venus fly trap is pretty on the outside, but don't get too close.
