They let him adopt someone's child? :rudone:
well the child looks happy and well dressed, groomed and clean
don't know how it is over there in the UK but the chances of a black child being adopted are very slim, especially if its not an infant.
white families don't want a nigger..unless they're celebrities who want to be on-trend . and usually they favor purebred African bvys for some reason ssssssss
and black families can't even afford the bvys they pop out themselves let alone taking on other people's mess
he's better off where he's at. purses and all
It's hard for kids to get adopted. Period.
But I know the adoption services are usually very rigid, if he's real life personality is anything like what he's giving on twitter I'm surprised he met the "criteria".

Sorry guys, there's little to no correlation.
I think the discomfort is more due to the fact that he is clearly effeminate, not that he's showing personality. If that's the case, just say it. No need to beat around the cobbler.

I know ... I know .... you like to think of kids as accessories to take to Sunday brunches after getting your back blown out at the local bathhouse, but ... no bueno

I feel like alot of mothers are unfit as well. We live in a society where ppl just think it's cute to plop a kid in any situation and call it a day.
And from what I read, I may be wrong, they're only engaged, not married. Why do ppl put kids through the ups and downs of their relationships. This couple will be broken up in 2 years tops.
sorry, It just is what it is :dead:
Fair enough.
However, many relationships, especially those at the level of engagement, are maintained with an optimistic hope and intent of it lasting forever.
This means it's logical to include your significant other in things that will continue to bond you as a familial unit -- including hanging out together and taking pictures with the kids.
You're jumping to your own conclusions in regards to potential longevity of their relationship, which is fine, but I'd be careful of accusing others of irresponsibility and recklessness when it is an engaged couple we're discussing -- not people that just met one another off of Jack'd 5 minutes ago.
If every gay relationship in your eyes is clearly destined to last no longer than two years, I have to ask -- do you see a finish line with a significant other in your future? Or a succession of short term relationships that are ultimately meaningless?
now you know I gotta stop you there twinzy, I didn't say every ghey relationship
:butwait!:
and I see your point, I really do. and hey if I'm wrong and they stay together for a lifetime, I'll take my eggs.
but the statistics these days speak quite loud, ghey or str8, ppl are divorcing and moving on fast. I'm speaking for all relationships adding children to an unstable environment.
but to answer your last question, yea I want it to last forever, I grew up in a stable home, and I want my kids to have that too.

sorry, It just is what it is :dead:
:butwait!:
So, what pulled you to the conclusion that their relationship has an expiration date? Was it the family photo? The Twitter? I'm trying to understand.
I based it on current relationship statistics :dead:
I'm sorry I just can't agree with renting a kid, heading to the Levi store and then doing a photoshoot.
it didn't scream family to me.
and that's me personally. I can't speak for what you guys deem is an ok situation for a child to be in. I'm always about the well being and emotional safety of children tho.
oh I didn't want it to be an undertone, the well being of the child was meant to be the basis of my views on this topic.
and twinzy you know we're always pretty candid with each other (darn cancers LOLZ)
.... so I will go ahead and say I did felt like you, and tht other guy, focused a lil more on their right to have a child moreso than the well being of said child.
I mean ... it just is what it is.
I mean, I have no control over the order of events lolz
when I entered the thread, I expressed, that the well being of that child should be the focus
Not an issue of whether or not these two ghey men should raise a child, that's political to me
I saw things on the twitter, that led me to believe it would be an unfit situation
Now ... up until the point I brought that up, the well being of the child was not the focus
And unless I missed something, I do feel like that was overlooked by you and 'ego
I mean I can't sugarcoat it, I would cause I love you, but I just can't
Love it
Oh there are no posts to reference.
The well being of the child wasn't considered until I came in.
Others just were saying if they liked it or if it was "cute", you know, comments you'd made if you saw someone with a brand new Barbie doll or purse lolz
But this is a child. And I'm glad I brought awareness to that. it's not political.

Its just weird that it was assumed that I was in here discussing gay rights instead of the child, when I never even got into that conversation. Very offensive.
It's very clear that people who are against gay parenting assume that people who support it are disregarding children. We want the world to accept us and for this and that to end, and some of us are even afraid to come out because of the social consequences we may face in our own environments....but we don't even accept ourselves and assume the worst about one another.
Interesting thread.

sssssss
Very revealing thread.
You know I've been a guardian before. (I don't think you asked that when assessing my stance, still luv ya tho lolz), and a child is so much more than arm candy.
My first instinct was to take care of the child to the best of my ability, not doll him up in denim to start a social media battle.
Not to mention the kind of associates he has as his followers, seemed like the motive wasn't to promote the child's happiness, but rather a selfish motive, further evidenced by the 100 retweets he's been doing garnering "support" :dead:
It's sad when politics overtake something as simple as a child's well being.
I know you and I'm sure you'd agree with that and be thankful I spoke up on the issue in here today! Luv you!

well some of these girls, mainly Afro, would dispute that because it would interrupt fairytale time :dead:
There's extra scrutiny on them because they are black gay men.
Let's be honest lol
How many hetero parents do we see on social media doing the most though?
Plenty.
As long as they give the boy a decent entry upbringing and education and keep him well fed and safe, that's the main thing.
Some of you guys didn't have any of that :tellmemoreireallycare:

Let's be clear on this: Ultimately, I don't care whether or not anyone here agrees on gay parenting. We can discuss it, etc. The only thing I truly took offense to was a completely unfounded implication that was made in here. And that's been addressed so we can keep the convo going for all I care.
well let's be even clearer for a second
you didn't acknowledge or bring up the well being of the child until I clocked it.
I'm not saying you didn't care. I'm glad you read what I wrote, took offense, and changed your stance. Now the thread can steer in the direction it should go.
that's all I can hope to strive for in life, is to raise awareness to the things that matter. And in this case, it worked.
love you

When you say clocking it -- are you referring to the first posts you made in here of naked men on page 2?
As you were doing that, I was a few posts away on page 3 addressing the physical appearance of the child and where the best place for the child to be is at.
http://www.brandysource.net/index.php?topic=32812.msg942361#msg942361
My first post addressing the situation was about the child, not the parents, or gay rights.
Is that clear?
um it's irrelevant, but yea I posted PrEP Squad pics .... to spread awareness.
and even still, your "first" post addressing it was in response to someone else.
or is that not you quoting someone else? :uhh:
the bottom line is, I've already said I didn't feel like the well being of the child was a priority of yours, and even in that quote it's more politically motivated, and ended with this
Quotehe's better off where he's at. purses and all
s
correlating back to my post about ppl treating kids like accessories.
you haven't presented anything otherwise so i'm not seeing the issue, and if there is one, could you clarify it for me please?
and I'm glad I clocked it and lead you that conclusion.
it's the most important thing, remember that.
moving on.
