An ERA :gorlonfire: these chills
:gorlonfire:
:stressed:
The way "Honey" kicked in.
Okay, Mariah.
I miss the 90s.
Everyone had their own style and sound.
These days, you can't tell artist apart because there are so many carbon copies.

I think that has a lot to do with the increased QUANTITY of artist.
GHan said it best, it used to be just a few at a time.
There's only so much originality that can come from such an overflow of artists.
Oh hush curly curls
:stressed:
These iconic hits
All of these classics in ONE year!
:flamebroiled:
Just ain't the same anymore

While I know and love every single song on there, these are a SMIDGE before my time. I didn't really take notice if any song the exact moment/era it came out except "I Believe I Can Fly". The rest I picked upon later.
The era is def artistically cuter than my Ashanti/Nelly/Fat Joe/Ja Rule/J. Lo golden era.
I feel sorry the millennias
The songs were so classy and laid back. And there was so much Afrocentric beauty around. Why do I feel like in that regard we made steps backwards. Young black girls and boys barely have cool respectable artists to choose from in the mainstream media.
