A) look further into it to find out why
B) keep it moving and genuinely not care
C) somewhere in between

If its family I ignore it
If it's a friend I ask r u ok
If it's a lover I push the issue until it's resolved, usually upsetting them in the process
If the reason is unclear then it's B.
